The year 2009 has been an exciting one for the International Society for Pathophysiology. A new set of activities and programs were organized. The ISP linked symposia establish a new style of meeting which combines a strong multidisciplinary and translational approaches. There is a great development in the organization of our 6th International Congress of ISP in Montreal. Please look for the exciting program at the website: www.ISPmontreal2010.com

The strengthening of collaborations and relations with national and regional societies as well as related specialty and non-physician groups is the main taskforce for ISP. These are just the beginning of new developments of ISP activities. All these would not be possible without you, ISP members, who support the society by attending our meetings and conferences, actively serving in commissions and committees, contributing to our journal, and dedicating your valuable time and effort in expanding our outreach and capacity building programs.

We invite you to joint to ISP for 2009. This will help the society to continue fulfilling its mission of advancing pathophysiology around the world and open many new opportunities.
